Want to design a reusable block of content you can drop into a mega menu dropdown, a modal popup, or any other area of your site? The Templates Builder in Botiga Pro lets you create custom Content Block templates and render them wherever you need them.

In this guide, we’ll walk you through how to build a content block template in Botiga Pro.


Before you get started, make sure you’ve installed and activated the Botiga theme on your WordPress site. If you’re using features from Botiga Pro, ensure that both the Botiga theme and the Botiga Pro plugin are installed and active. This feature requires Botiga Pro.

Note: If you’re running Botiga Pro on a version older than v1.2.9, follow the legacy content block template guide instead.

Activating the Templates Builder Module

From your WordPress admin, go to Botiga >> Theme Dashboard and activate the Templates Builder module.

Creating a Content Block Template

Once the module is active, click Build Templates.

Click Add Template.

Name your template.

The Templates Builder works with both the WordPress Block Editor (Gutenberg) and the Elementor page builder.

Inside the Elementor editor, find the Botiga widgets under Botiga WooCommerce in the left sidebar. Skip this step if you’re using the Block Editor.

Once you’re done designing, click Publish or Save to make the template available for use across your site.
