Want to reassure shoppers that your store is safe to buy from? The Trust Badges module in Merchant lets you add badges to your WooCommerce product pages that signal your store is reliable.
In this guide, we’ll walk you through how to set up and enable the Trust Badges module in Merchant.
Before you get started, make sure you’ve installed and activated the Merchant plugin on your WordPress site. If you’re using premium modules, ensure you have Merchant Pro installed and active.
Below, you can see some examples of trust badges, including Secure ordering, 30-day Money-Back Guarantee, 100% Satisfaction Guaranteed, and Easy Returns:
Merchant comes with four default trust badges, shown in the screenshot above. You can also upload your own custom trust badges and display them on your WooCommerce product pages.
Open the Trust Badges module
Open your Merchant dashboard by clicking the Merchant menu in the left sidebar of your WordPress admin area.
Under the Build Trust heading, click the Trust Badges module to open its settings page:
Add or remove the trust badges
On the module’s settings page, you’ll find the four default trust badges. To remove one you don’t want to display, hover your cursor over the badge and click the red X icon:
Add your own trust badges by clicking the Select Badges button, which opens a modal where you can upload images from your computer or add them from your WordPress Media Library:
Configure the module’s settings
Below the Trust Badges section, you’ll find the Settings section, where you can customize the frontend design of your badges. Change the alignment, text description, font size, text color, border color, bottom margin, and the maximum width and height of the badges:
Once the trust badges are added and the settings are configured, click the Save button in the top-right corner of the page.
Enable the module
Finally, click the Enable button to activate the Trust Badges module:

Yes. Click Select Badges to upload images from your computer or add them from your Media Library, alongside or instead of the defaults.
