The Storewide Sale module lets you create large-scale discount campaigns in your WooCommerce store. For example, you can put your entire store on sale with just the click of a button.
With Merchant Pro, you can create as many storewide sale campaigns as you want to.
The campaigns can include:
- all your products
- one or more product categories
- a curated selection of products
The module also allows you to:
- create percentage and fixed discounts
- exclude products from your storewide sale campaigns
- set up campaigns for specific users or based on user roles
- prioritize your storewide sale campaigns
You can use the Storewide Sale module together with the Product Labels and Countdown Timer modules to make your campaigns more effective.
In the screenshot below, you can see the module in action on the Shop page of a WooCommerce store when all products are 20% off:
Below, you can also see the Storewide Sale module on an individual product page, together with the Product Labels and Countdown Timer modules:
Below, we’ll see how to configure and activate the module.
1. Open the Storewide Sale Module
Open your Merchant dashboard by clicking the Merchant menu in the left sidebar of your WordPress admin area.
Find the Boost Revenue section, then click the Storewide Sale module to open its settings page:
2. Create Your First Storewide Discount Campaign
You can create your storewide sale campaigns one by one on the module’s admin page. This is also where you can later review, change, or delete your campaigns.
To create your first storewide discount campaign, click the Add New Campaign button in the Simple Discount section:
When the settings of the new offer show up, configure them one by one:
- Offer name – The name of the offer; it will only appear on the module’s admin page.
- Trigger – Here, you can configure which products you want to add to your campaign. The available options are All products (you also have the option to exclude one or more products or categories), Specific products (start typing the product name you want to create the offer for, and Merchant Pro’s real-time search function will find it for you; you can add as many products as you want), and Specific categories (you can select one or more of your product categories from a dropdown list; you can exclude products too).
- Discount – You can choose between a Percentage and a Fixed discount and define the value of the discount in either percentage or the currency of your store (e.g. $; you can change the currency by going to WooCommerce > Settings > General > Currency options > Currency in your WordPress admin area).
- Note that for products already discounted, Merchant will apply the discount to the regular price, not the discounted one — so double discounts will not happen.
- Apply discount to – You can choose whether the discount should be applied to the regular price or the sale price (for products already on sale).
- User Condition – Here, you can configure which users or user groups you want to show the offer. The available options are All Users, Selected Users, and Selected Roles.
- Availability – This option lets you choose whether you want to make this campaign Always available or only available between Specific dates (you can add a start and end date; if you just want to add a start date, leave the Ends at field empty).
Once you’ve configured all the settings, click the Save button in the top-right corner of the page:
3. Enable the Storewide Sale Module
To activate the module, click the Enable button at the top of the page:
4. Create More Storewide Sale Campaigns
To add another offer to your WooCommerce store, click the Add New Campaign button again, configure the settings of the new campaign, and then click the Save button at the top of the page.
You can also duplicate an existing campaign by clicking the Duplicate icon inside the respective campaign box.
Merchant Pro allows you to rearrange your storewide sale campaigns using drag and drop, too (note that rearranging the campaigns also changes their priority — see below):
Campaign Priority Order
The order of your storewide sale campaigns on the module’s admin page also indicates their priority (i.e. the first campaign has the highest priority).
If two or more storewide sale offers apply to a product, only the one with the highest priority will be applied.
Also note that the storewide sale campaigns created with Merchant Pro override (disable) the sale price you set on the WooCommerce product page (Products > All Products > Edit) in case both sale prices apply to a product.
