Styling for your footer widgets

Note: The footer widget styling options described below apply to the legacy footer system. In recent versions of Sydney, footer styling is managed through the Header & Footer Builder, where each row, column, and component has its own style settings (background color, height, border, spacing, and more).

If you are using an older version of Sydney that still uses the legacy footer system, the information below still applies.

You can style your site’s footer widgets area by going to Customize > Footer > Footer Widgets (Style tab).

Colors

Change the background color for this section and the colors for elements like widget titles, text, and links (both default state and hover).

Divider

Enabling the divider adds a border right before your footer widgets section. You can customize the divider’s size, color, and width.

Other Options

  • Vertical section padding — Top and bottom padding for the footer widgets section.
  • Column spacing — If you have multiple footer widget columns, this controls the horizontal spacing between them.
  • Widget titles size — Responsive font size option for your widget titles.
