Configuring the Copyright Area in Botiga

Want to add custom credits and social links to the bottom of your Botiga site? The copyright area in the footer lets you display your company name, dynamic tags, and a row of social icons in a single configurable section.

In this guide, we’ll walk you through how to configure the copyright area in Botiga.

Before you get started, make sure you’ve installed and activated the Botiga theme on your WordPress site. If you’re using features from Botiga Pro, ensure that both the Botiga theme and the Botiga Pro plugin are installed and active.

From your admin area, go to Customize >> Footer >> Copyright Area. The following options are available.

Container Type

Choose whether your copyright content sits inside a container or stretches full-width across the screen.

Add your custom credits using this option. HTML is supported, and you can use any of the following dynamic tags: {copyright}, {year}, {site_title}, and {theme_author}. Botiga automatically converts each tag to the matching value.

Social Profile

Add the links to your social accounts using the Social profile option. Botiga displays the matching icon for each link as an SVG. Use the bars icon to rearrange your links with drag and drop.
