Using Merchant With Elementor and Other Page Builders
Can you design your product, shop, checkout, and cart pages with a page builder like Elementor while using Merchant? Yes. Merchant and Merchant Pro are compatible with shop pages built with Elementor or any other page builder plugin.
In this guide, we’ll explain how Merchant modules render on page-builder shop pages, and what to do in the rare case a module doesn’t show.
Before you get started, make sure you’ve installed and activated the Merchant plugin on your WordPress site. If you’re using premium modules, ensure you have Merchant Pro installed and active.
The modules’ output is built to be injected or triggered through the WooCommerce hooks. The page builder components you use to build custom shop pages trigger these necessary hooks, so our modules render normally.
Examples
Here are some examples:
- The Pre-Orders module displays a Shipping date message under each product card in the grid.
- The Bulk Discounts module includes display options, so you can choose where to show it, for example before or after the add-to-cart button.
- All 40+ modules of the plugin work the same way.
Shortcodes
Some modules also come with a Shortcode option. Once enabled, it lets you render the module output anywhere through the shortcode.
This is useful in the uncommon cases where a module isn’t displaying, usually because of a custom theme compatibility issue or a plugin conflict.
That’s it! You now know how Merchant modules render on shop pages built with Elementor and other page builders, and how the shortcode option helps when a module doesn’t appear.
