The WhatsApp Chat Widget enables seamless integration of WhatsApp messaging into your website, providing a convenient way for visitors to reach you. Activate the Widget
This widget is part of the aThemes Addons for Elementor plugin. To activate it:
- Navigate to the aThemes Addons dashboard in your WordPress admin area.
- Search for the WhatsApp Chat widget.
- Toggle the switch to activate it. The widget will now be available in the Elementor interface.
Widget Options
Chat Settings
- WhatsApp Number: Enter your WhatsApp number to receive messages.
- Sticky Button: Enable this to fix the chat button’s position on the screen.
- Position: Choose whether the sticky button should appear on the left or right side of the screen.
- Mode: Select between “Popup” mode or “Direct Link” mode for initiating the chat.
- Show Only on Mobiles: Enable this option to make the chat button visible only on mobile devices.
Content
- Header Mode: Choose between displaying a static title or user information.
- Header Title: Add a title for the chat popup, such as “Welcome!”.
- User Name: Specify the name to display in the header, such as “John Doe”.
- Image: Upload a profile image for the user.
- CTA Text: Add a call-to-action message that appears when the chat is online, such as “Hello 👋, how can we help you?”
- CTA Text Offline: Specify a message for when the chat is offline, such as “We’re currently offline. Please leave a message.”
- Button Text: Customize the text on the chat button, such as “Start Chat” or “Chat with Us.”
- Button Icon: Choose an icon for the chat button from the Elementor icon library.
- Initial Message: Set a predefined message that users send when initiating the chat, such as “Hello, I’d like to know more about your services.”
- Require Terms: Enable a checkbox that users must tick to accept terms before starting the chat.
- Terms: Add custom text or a link to your terms and conditions, such as “Please accept our Terms and Conditions before starting this chat.”
