In this guide, we’ll walk you through how to activate, configure, and style the Telegram Chat widget in aThemes Addons.


Activating the Telegram Chat Widget

This widget is part of the aThemes Addons for Elementor plugin. To activate it:

  1. Navigate to the aThemes Addons dashboard in your WordPress admin area.
  2. Search for the Telegram Chat widget.
  3. Toggle the switch to activate it. The widget will now be available in the Elementor interface.

Configuring the Content Section

The Content section controls the core messaging and behavior of the Telegram Chat widget. Here you set up the connection to your Telegram channel or group and customize the call-to-action elements.

Content Section

  • Telegram Channel/Group: Enter the channel or group name where users will be redirected (e.g., “telegram”).
  • CTA Text: Add an inviting message, such as “Hello 👋, how can we assist you?”
  • CTA Text Offline: Provide a message for offline status, like “We’re currently offline. Please leave a message.”
  • Button Text: Customize the button text, such as “Start Chat” or “Message Us.”
  • Button Icon: Choose an icon from Elementor’s icon library for the chat button.
  • Require Terms: Add a checkbox requiring users to accept terms before starting the chat.
  • Terms: Provide a link or text for terms and conditions, such as “Accept our Terms and Conditions before starting the chat.”

Sticky Button Options

  • Enable Sticky Button: Ensure the chat button remains visible while scrolling.
  • Position: Set the button’s position (left or right).
  • Show Only on Mobiles: Restrict the sticky button visibility to mobile devices.

Header Section

  • Header Mode: Display either a title or user information.
  • Header Title: Add a greeting like “Welcome!”
  • User Name: Show a custom name such as “Customer Support.”
  • Profile Image: Upload an image representing the user or organization.

Online Availability

  • Online Mode: Choose between “Always Online” or a scheduled availability.
  • Working Hours: Configure specific days and times for chat availability.

Styling the Telegram Chat Widget

The Style Tab allows for detailed customization:

  • Background Colors: Adjust header, chat body, and message bubble colors.
  • Typography: Set text styles for headers, messages, and terms.
  • Button Design: Customize button appearance, hover effects, and icon styles.
