The Posts List Widget allows you to display a list of your posts in various styles, including classic and list views. You can customize the appearance and functionality to match your website’s design and needs.
Activate the widget
This widget is part of the aThemes Addons for Elementor plugin. To activate it, go to your admin area, visit the aThemes Addons dashboard, search for the widget, and click on the switch to activate it. It will now be available in your Elementor interface.
Widget options
Layout section
- Post style: Choose between “Classic” and “List” styles for displaying posts.
- Columns: Set the number of columns for displaying posts. You can customize this for desktop, tablet, and mobile views.
- Item gap: Adjust the space between each post item.
Query section
- Query Type: Choose between the “Main Query” or a “Custom Query” for fetching posts.
- Post Type: Select the post type to display (e.g., posts, pages, custom post types).
- Taxonomies: Filter posts by taxonomies such as categories or tags.
- Posts: Include or exclude specific posts by selecting them from a list.
- Number of posts: Set the number of posts to display.
- Order by: Choose how to order posts (e.g., date, title, random).

- Ignore Sticky Posts: Option to ignore sticky posts in the query.
- Offset: Set an offset for the posts query.
Elements section
- Post title: Toggle the display of post titles and select the HTML tag (H1, H2, etc.).
- Image: Toggle the display of featured images and adjust image size, height, fit, position, and width.
- Post info: Display post meta information like date, author, and categories. Choose a delimiter to separate meta items.
- Excerpt: Toggle the display of post excerpts and set the number of words.
- Read more: Add a “Read more” text link and align it as needed.
- Pagination: Enable pagination and customize the pagination settings including the number of pages and text for next/previous buttons.

- Padding: Adjust the padding inside the post cards.
