The Video Gallery Widget enables you to create visually appealing galleries featuring YouTube, Vimeo, or self-hosted videos. Customize the layout, filter options, hover effects, and content display to suit your needs.

Activate the Widget

This widget is part of the aThemes Addons for Elementor plugin. To activate it:

  1. Navigate to the aThemes Addons dashboard in your WordPress admin area.
  2. Search for the Video Gallery widget.
  3. Toggle the switch to activate it. The widget will now be available in the Elementor editor.

Widget Options

  • Columns: Choose the number of columns for desktop, tablet, and mobile.
  • Gutter: Adjust the spacing between gallery items.
  • Video Type: Select YouTube, Vimeo, or self-hosted video.
  • Video URL: Enter the link for YouTube or Vimeo videos.
  • Image: Upload a thumbnail image for the video.
  • Title: Add a title for each gallery item.
  • Content: Include optional additional content or a description.
  • Filter Term: Assign categories to enable filtering of gallery items.

Settings

Filter
  • Show Filter: Toggle the display of filter options.
  • Show All Text: Customize the label for the “Show All” filter option.
  • Filter Alignment: Align the filter items (left, center, or right).
Images
  • Hover Effect: Choose from various hover effects such as Zoom In, Opacity, or Rotate.
  • Transition Duration: Adjust the speed of hover effect transitions.
Content
  • Vertical Alignment: Align content vertically (Top, Middle, or Bottom).
  • Content Alignment: Align content horizontally (Left, Center, or Right).
  • HTML Tag: Set the HTML tag for the item title (e.g., H1, H2).
  • Visibility: Toggle content visibility on hover or always visible.
Icon
  • Play Icon: Choose an icon to represent the play button.

Style

  • Wrapper Background: Customize the gallery background color.
  • Wrapper Padding & Margin: Adjust spacing around the gallery.
  • Filter Style: Customize the appearance of filter items, including hover and active states.
  • Item Style: Adjust padding, border, border-radius, and shadow for each item.
  • Content Style: Customize text alignment, colors, and typography for titles and descriptions.
  • Icon Style: Adjust size, colors, and hover effects for the play icon.
