Using Elementor with Airi

Want to build your Airi pages using Elementor? Airi ships with two custom Elementor blocks, one for blog posts and one for portfolio items, so you can display dynamic content inside any Elementor layout you design.

In this guide, we’ll walk you through how Airi integrates with Elementor and what each of Airi’s custom blocks does.

Before you get started, make sure you’ve installed and activated the Airi theme on your WordPress site along with the Elementor plugin. To use the portfolio block, you’ll also need Airi Pro installed and active.

How Airi Works with Elementor

All of Airi’s demos are built with the Elementor plugin. If you’re new to Elementor, the official Elementor documentation is a great place to get started with the basics of the builder.

On top of Elementor’s built-in widgets, Airi adds two custom blocks specifically for content-driven layouts: a Posts block and a Portfolio block.

Using the Posts Block

The Posts block pulls posts from your blog and displays them in any Elementor section. Use it on your homepage to feature recent articles, or on a dedicated page to show a curated list of posts.

Using the Portfolio Block

The Portfolio block displays your project items in a masonry layout. It also includes an optional filter so visitors can easily browse projects by category. This feature requires Airi Pro.

That’s it! You now know how Airi integrates with Elementor and how to use its custom Posts and Portfolio blocks in your layouts.
