In this guide, we’ll walk you through how to activate, configure, and style the Timeline widget in aThemes Addons.
Before you get started, make sure you’ve installed and activated the aThemes Addons plugin on your WordPress site along with Elementor. This widget requires aThemes Addons Pro.
Activating the Timeline Widget
This widget is part of the aThemes Addons for Elementor plugin. To activate it:
- Navigate to the aThemes Addons dashboard in your WordPress admin area.
- Search for the Timeline widget.
- Toggle the switch to activate it. The widget will now be available in the Elementor interface.

Adding Timeline Items
Content Section
- Items: Add multiple timeline items, each with a title, date, and content.
- Icons and Images: Optionally include icons or images as markers for each timeline item.
- Marker Position: Position markers to the left, right, or center of the timeline.
- Marker Style: Choose between circle, date, icon, or image for timeline markers.
- Alignment: Adjust the alignment of the timeline content.

Styling the Timeline Widget
- Card Style: Customize the padding, border-radius, background color, and box shadow for each timeline item.
- Marker Style: Adjust the background color, text color, border-radius, and line color and width.
- Date Style: Modify the typography and color of the date text.
- Title Style: Change the typography and color of the timeline item titles.
- Content Style: Adjust the typography and color of the content for each item.
- Image Style: Define the spacing and border-radius for images used as markers.

That’s it! You’ve successfully created and customized a visual timeline on your WordPress site using the aThemes Addons Timeline widget.
