The Taxonomy Grid Block is designed to help you display your website’s taxonomy terms, such as categories or tags, in a clean, structured, and user-friendly layout. It’s ideal for showcasing content groupings visually and intuitively.

How to Use the Taxonomy Grid Block
To get started:
- Enable the Taxonomy Grid Block from the Blocks Dashboard.
- Once enabled, add the Taxonomy Grid Block to your page.
- After adding it, you can begin customizing your Taxonomy Grid settings.


General Settings of the Taxonomy Grid Block
When the Taxonomy Grid Block is selected, go to the General tab in the settings sidebar. You can configure the following options:
Presets
- Choose from four different layout styles.
Query Settings
- Select the taxonomy type (e.g., categories, tags, or custom taxonomies).
- Set the number of terms per page.
- Exclude the current term if needed.
- Hide empty terms to avoid displaying unused categories or tags.
- Set the Order By and Order (e.g., name, count, ascending, descending).
Carousel
- Enable or disable the carousel feature for a sliding layout.
Content
- Choose whether to display:
- Title
- Title Tag
- Description of each term
Button
- Show or hide a button for each term.
- Choose whether the button opens in a new tab.

Styling Options for the Taxonomy Grid Block
In the Style tab, you can customize the look and feel of different elements:

- Set the number of columns
- Adjust column gap and row gap
- Set background color
- Choose a border style
- Control vertical and horizontal alignment
- Adjust card padding
- Choose whether to apply padding to content only

- Customize color, typography, and bottom spacing

- Set:

Advanced Settings of the Taxonomy Grid Block
In the Advanced tab, you’ll find more customization options:
- Layout: Adjust padding, margin, and Z-index.
- Background: Set a background color for the entire block.
- Animation: Add entrance animations such as slide in, fade in, zoom in, rotate in, flip in, and more.
- Responsive: Control visibility by choosing to hide the block on desktop, tablet, or mobile.
- Advanced: Add custom CSS classes or CSS IDs for additional styling.
