Setting Up the Login/Register Element
You can add the Login/Register link through two methods, depending on which header system your site uses:
- Header Builder
- Classic header system (Top Bar and Main Header)
Using the Header Builder
Go to Appearance >> Customize >> Header >> Header Builder, click to add a new component to the header, and select the Login/Register component.

Once you add the component, the Login/Register settings will load in the Customizer’s left sidebar. See the settings section further down to learn what each option does.
Using the Classic Header System
Go to Appearance >> Customize >> Header >> Top Bar (or Appearance >> Customize >> Header >> Main Header) and enable the Login/Register component.

Once enabled, new options will appear. Scroll down to the Login/Register section and click the Login/Register Settings button.

Login/Register Settings
The Login/Register settings will load in the Customizer’s left sidebar.

- Login Link Text: The text shown to non-logged-in users.
- Enable Popup: Opens the login and register forms in a popup. If disabled, the user is redirected to the default WooCommerce login page. Important: to show the register form, enable Allow customers to create an account on the “My account” page in WooCommerce Settings >> Account and Privacy.
- Show Welcome Message: Displays a welcome message with an account links dropdown when the user is logged in.
- Welcome Message Text: The text shown in the welcome message.
Frequently Asked Questions
Below, we’ve answered some of the most common questions about the Login/Register element in Botiga Pro.
Why isn’t the register form showing in the popup?
The register form depends on a WooCommerce setting. Go to WooCommerce >> Settings >> Accounts and Privacy and enable Allow customers to create an account on the “My account” page.
Can I use this element without WooCommerce?
The Login/Register element is built to work with WooCommerce account pages. Without WooCommerce, the login redirect and register form behavior won’t work as expected.
Can I add the Login/Register element in both the top bar and main header?
Yes. In the classic header system, you can enable the Login/Register component in both the Top Bar and Main Header sections. With the Header Builder, you can drop the component into any header row.
That’s it! You’ve successfully set up the Login/Register link with popup in Botiga Pro.
