[PRO] Adding Elements to the Footer Copyright Area

Want to add more than just text to your site’s footer copyright area? Botiga Pro extends the free theme with extra footer copyright elements, including payment icons, a navigation menu, custom HTML, and shortcodes.

In this guide, we’ll walk you through how to use the extra footer copyright elements in Botiga Pro.

Before you get started, make sure you’ve installed and activated the Botiga theme on your WordPress site. If you’re using features from Botiga Pro, ensure that both the Botiga theme and the Botiga Pro plugin are installed and active. This feature requires Botiga Pro.

Note: If you’re using the Header and Footer Builder module, follow our guide on using the Header and Footer Builder instead. The instructions below apply only to the classic header and footer system.

Accessing the Footer Copyright Options

Frequently Asked Questions

Below, we’ve answered some of the most common questions about the footer copyright elements in Botiga Pro.

Can I use all four elements at the same time?

Yes. Each element has its own toggle, so you can enable any combination of payment icons, navigation menu, HTML, and shortcode in the copyright area.

Why doesn’t my footer copyright menu show up?

Make sure you’ve assigned a menu to the Footer Copyright Menu location under Appearance >> Menus. If no menu is assigned to that location, nothing will display even with the option enabled.

Can I use these elements with the Header and Footer Builder?

No. These options apply only to the classic footer system. If you’re using the Header and Footer Builder module, manage your footer copyright through the builder instead.

That’s it! You’ve successfully added extra elements to your footer copyright area in Botiga Pro.
