[PRO] Checkout Layouts
Want a checkout flow that fits your store better than WooCommerce’s default? Botiga Pro adds three premium checkout layouts to the two that ship in the free theme: Multi-Step Checkout, One-Step Checkout, and Shopify Checkout.
In this guide, we’ll walk you through the checkout layouts available in Botiga Pro.
Before you get started, make sure you’ve installed and activated the Botiga theme on your WordPress site along with WooCommerce. If you’re using features from Botiga Pro, ensure that both the Botiga theme and the Botiga Pro plugin are installed and active. This feature requires Botiga Pro.
Multi-Step Checkout
Multi-Step Checkout breaks the default WooCommerce checkout into separate, focused sections. Instead of one long form, customers move through clear steps for billing, shipping, and payment, which reduces overwhelm and makes the process easier to follow.

Important: the Login step only appears if the user isn’t logged in and the WooCommerce setting Allow customers to place orders without an account is enabled under WooCommerce >> Settings >> Account and Privacy.
Shopify Checkout
Shopify Checkout replicates the look and feel of Shopify’s checkout. If customers are familiar with that experience, this layout gives them a familiar pattern to work through.

One-Step Checkout
One-Step Checkout condenses every field onto a single page. Customers complete their purchase without moving through multiple sections, which can lift conversion on simpler orders.

Frequently Asked Questions
Below, we’ve answered some of the most common questions about checkout layouts in Botiga Pro.
Which checkout layout converts best?
It depends on your audience and product complexity. Stores with short forms often see better conversion with One-Step. Stores with shipping, billing, and complex options often benefit from Multi-Step. Test against your own traffic.
Can I switch layouts without losing customer data?
Yes. The layout only affects how the checkout displays. Existing orders, carts, and customer records stay intact when you switch.
Does Multi-Step Checkout work for logged-in users?
Yes. Logged-in users skip the Login step. The remaining steps work the same way for everyone.
That’s it! You’ve successfully picked a checkout layout in Botiga Pro.
