In this guide, we’ll walk you through how to use the PDF Viewer widget in aThemes Addons for Elementor.
Before you get started, make sure you’ve installed and activated the aThemes Addons plugin on your WordPress site along with Elementor. This widget requires aThemes Addons Pro.
Activating the Widget
Navigate to the aThemes Addons dashboard in your WordPress admin area. Search for PDF Viewer and toggle the widget on to activate it.

Exploring Widget Options
Configuring the PDF Source
The PDF Source section provides the following options:
- Source Type – Choose between URL or File Upload.
- PDF URL – Enter an external URL to a PDF file (available when Source Type is set to URL).
- PDF File – Upload a PDF from your media library (available when Source Type is set to File Upload).

Adjusting Viewer Settings
The Viewer Settings section includes the following options:
- Height – Set the viewer height in pixels or viewport height (vh).
- Width – Set the viewer width in pixels, viewport width (vw), or percentage.
- Alignment – Align the viewer to the left, center, or right.
