Activate the Widget
To activate this widget:
- Go to the aThemes Addons dashboard in your WordPress admin area.
- Enable the Google Reviews widget.
- The widget will now appear in the Elementor editor under the “aThemes Addons” category.
Widget Options
Google API Settings
- Google Places API Key: Enter your API key to fetch reviews.
- Place ID: Specify your business’s Google Place ID.
- Language: Define the language for reviews (e.g., “en” for English).
- Sort By: Choose “Most Relevant” or “Newest” reviews.
Layout
- Layout Type: Choose between “Grid” or “Carousel” layout.
- Columns: Adjust the number of reviews displayed per row.
- Arrows & Dots: Enable/disable navigation arrows and pagination dots for carousels.
- Autoplay: Enable autoplay and set the speed for carousels.
Elements
- Place Image: Show or upload a custom image for your business.
- Title: Display your business name as the header.
- Ratings: Include average ratings and a total reviews count.
- Reviews: Customize the display of reviewer photo, name, date, and content.
- Schema Markup: Enable schema for improved SEO.
Style Options
- Wrapper: Customize the background, padding, margin, border, and box shadow for the widget container.
- Place: Style the place image, title, and rating display.
- Review: Define colors, typography, and spacing for review items.
- Navigation: Customize the appearance of arrows and dots in the carousel.
Caching & Performance
- Caching Time: Set the duration for cached data (e.g., 1 hour, 1 day).
- Clear Cache: Manually clear the cache to fetch fresh reviews.
