Using the Google Maps Block (Legacy)

Want to embed a Google Map on your WordPress pages? The legacy Google Maps block in aThemes Blocks extends the default WordPress editor, letting you paste in an iframe embed code and drop a map into any post or page.

In this guide, we’ll walk you through how to get an embed code from Google Maps and use it with the aThemes Blocks Google Maps block.


Before you get started, make sure you’ve installed and activated the aThemes Blocks plugin on your WordPress site.

Getting the Embed Iframe Code

  1. Go to https://www.google.com/maps.
  2. Search for the address and click the Share button.
