The Filterable Gallery Widget for Elementor allows you to beautifully display a collection of images that can be filtered by categories. This powerful widget offers various customization options, making it perfect for portfolios, photo galleries, or showcasing any grouped images.

Activate the widget

The Filterable Gallery Widget is included in the aThemes Addons for Elementor plugin. To activate this widget, navigate to the aThemes Addons dashboard within your WordPress admin area. Locate the Filterable Gallery Widget and toggle the switch to activate it. Upon activation, the widget will be available for use in the Elementor editor.

Widget options

The Filterable Gallery Widget comes packed with lots of settings that allow you to customize the layout, appearance, and functionality of your gallery to fit your needs perfectly.

Layout Section

  • Skins: select one of the available skins to quickly change the design.
  • Columns: Adjust the number of columns for the gallery. You can set different column numbers for desktop, tablet, and mobile views.
  • Gutter: Control the spacing between images in your gallery. This space is adjustable for all device sizes.
  • Items list: Here you add the images, titles, and descriptions for each item in the gallery. You can also specify a link for each image and decide whether the image opens in a lightbox or not. For images intended to open a video in the lightbox, you can provide the video link.
  • Filter term: Assign categories to your items. These categories are used for filtering the gallery. Use the format category-key:Category Name for each item, one per row.

Settings Section

  • Show filter: Enable or disable the filter bar at the top of the gallery.
  • Show all text: Customize the label for the button that resets the filter, showing all items.
  • Filter Alignment: Decide the alignment of the filter bar (left, center, right).

Styling

Under the Style tab, you’ll find extensive styling options for the gallery wrapper, items, filter bar, and icons. Customize the background, padding, margin, border, and box shadow for the gallery and its elements. Style the filter buttons, including their typography, color, spacing, and hover effects. Additionally, you can adjust the appearance of the gallery items, such as padding, border, and content overlay styling.
