Installing the Active Theme
Ready to get the Active theme up and running on your Shopify store? Installing Active takes just a few minutes using the Shopify admin panel’s theme upload feature.
In this guide, we’ll walk you through how to install the Active theme on your Shopify store.
To install Active on your Shopify store, follow these steps:
- Visit the admin of your Shopify store.
- Click Online Store.
- The Themes tab should be automatically selected.
- Scroll down and you will see the Upload Theme button.
- Either drag and drop the .zip theme file you downloaded, or browse and upload it by clicking Add file.
- Click Upload file.
It is normal for themes to take several minutes to install. After the theme is installed, it will appear as an unpublished theme by default. To publish the theme, click on the Actions dropdown and click Publish.
That’s it! You’ve successfully installed the Active theme on your Shopify store.
